First of all...hi and thanks for stopping by. My name is Tanya - the creator, designer and owner of Coastal Grandma Studio. My story is simple...the beach has always been, and will always be, my happiest of places. Growing up in SoCal, with the beach a stone's throw away, my love started early. That love was solidified in the mid-60s (yes...1960s) when I had the great fortune to call a very tiny cottage in a then very tiny coastal community home for years. This pix is me, sitting in my "front" yard so many years ago. I can still feel the sun on my face and the sand scrunching under my feet. I can't forget to mention that I owned two brick and mortar decorative accessories and antique stores in the late 1970's. I have carried my love of all things coastal, floral and vintage into my homes, wherever they may be...even while living in New York City. It is that foundation and those sweet memories that inspire all things Coastal Grandma Studio. That being said, I am so happy to have you here and for us to be friends!
