Our Hearts Are Broken!

Pasadena Humane has taken in more than 400 animals from the Eaton Fire Emergency. The team is desperately in need of monetary donations to help purchase medical supplies. Animals are suffering from smoke inhalation, singed paws, burns and dehydration. The team has been treating each animal based on their needs, providing fluids, oxygen, pain medications and wound care as quickly as they can. Donating gives the group the flexibitly to cover critical expenses to ensure that every animal has the best chance at a happy ending. As the Eaton Fire Emergency continues, they anticipate that they will need to take in many more animals who are in need of emergency care. Coastal Grandma Studio is donating the proceeds from all sales over the next several weeks to this dedicated organization. Thanks so much for caring and sharing this message.

Taking a big step back in time -- the year was 1965 and I was hand drawing and lettering calendars as gifts for the holidays. Using a dip style calligraphy pen, black India ink and watercolors, each month sparked to life. My love of planning and journaling has never faded. For several years I designed, made and sold paper stickers for two popular paper planners. As time passed I found myself drawn to digital planning. And, with the advent of the iPad and Goodnotes...digital planning just made sense for my unique planning style. A Bit About Coastal Grandma

First of all...hi and thanks for being here. My name is Tanya - the creator, designer and owner of Coastal Grandma Studio. The beach has always been, and will always be, my happiest of places. Growing up in SoCal, with the beach a stone's throw away, my love started early, I have so many great memories of family weekends and vacations at the beach. That love was solidified in the mid-60s (yes...1960s) when I had the great fortune to call a very tiny cottage in a then very tiny coastal community home for years. This pix is me, sitting in my "front" yard so many years ago. I can still feel the sun on my face and the sand scrunching under my feet. I have carried my love of all things coastal, floral and vintage into my homes, wherever they may be...even while living in New York City. It is that foundation and those sweet memories that inspire all things Coastal Grandma Studio. That being said, I am so happy to have you here and for us to be friends!
